A few month’s ago my boyfriend got me a beautiful young rat. He went out with one of my best friend’s while I was at work and made a wooden cage for me and then got my friend to pick out my new baby. They came to visit me at the store and brought her in a little box to see me. I loved her at first sight. Her name is Patches Darkholme…or Mystique. After having her for a couple of months we realized she was a little lonely and we went back to the pet store to get her new friend. We got the smallest female rat we could and named her Rogue. They have been living in the wooden cage my boyfriend and best friend made for them and the family decided it was time for a change.
My boyfriend’s sister gave us her hand-me-down Guinea Pig cage and we transferred them over today. I know that my boyfriend doesn’t really like the cage and rats are not supposed to be in plastic enclosures but I am sure they will be fine for a little while. My previous cage when I had rats a few years ago was metal; I hope to get another one when I have some disposable cash to
splurge on my babies.Every time we do things with the rats I start to get more excited with my seasons of X-men. I plan to watch the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix Sage while I study for my upcoming tests.
